Having a mental block at the moment. Got to W6R2. I know that the next one is a full 25 minutes so can't seem to motivate myself to do it as it looks too hard. Any tips or do I just need to get it done?

Trust the program and trust yourself, take it slooooooooww in the wise words of Dr pepper... 'What's the worst that can happen?' Go on give it a go and I reckon you will suprise yourself 😉👍🏻
You are physically ready for it !Because you have completed the previous runs and that's how the program works .
You have just run a total of 18 minutes in week 6 run 1 and 20 minutes in run 2 !
Infact if you look at the timings, the total training time for week 6 run 3 is just 1 minute more than that of run 1
These are now mental barriers not physical , just keep them slow and you will do it 😁👍
I remember having similar thoughts when I got to this part of the plan, but it really is a mental barrier. As everyone says, just trust the plan you are ready for this and you can do it. Just head out and follow the App as normal, don’t let the negative mind gremlins get to you first. If you go out thinking you ‘can’t’ run 25 mins it will be really hard, instead go out there thinking ‘I’ve got this’ - then it will be easy. Afterwards you will feel great and wonder why you ever doubted yourself. Go for it!
Q1. In what way does it look too hard?
Q2. How did you feel before and after W5R3?
Of course you’re ready for it! Just keep it slow and steady. Slow down even more if you need to. It’s not about pace of distance - just stamina and silencing those voices that tell you you can’t do it. Good luck!
