After a two week running break, back and second run I’m two years older and “unproductive”! 😂
Any Garmin wearers know why that is? Not sure whether to lie down or ignore it!!
Thanks!

FreedomToRun I wear a Garmin Forerunner 45 and you have to set up your weight and height and mine says fair and my fitness age is my actual age, I only use it as a guide and not get hung up over it.
After 2 weeks of not running you hardly lose the gains that you have made, after that any loss is gradual.
Restart the programme where you feel most comfortable, either restart the week or drop back to an earlier week.
Re-reading this post will help.

Enjoy the journey
I have heard from other runners on this forum on how much effort they have put into a run to be told by Garmin that "your run was unproductive" it might be something to do with settings, if you plan to do a run in such and such a time then Garmin will tell you that it was unproductive if you were a little slower than was expected , which isn't fair despite the effort you put into the run.
Mr Garmin can be a fickle creature ! He dosent like you not running .
Last time I had a 2 week break i was also rewarded with 2 years on my fitness age 😐
What he DOES like is some short faster runs occasionally 😁
Mr Garmin penalises slower runs even if they turn out to be PBs (personal bests) for that distance. I really wouldn't worry about it.
As to fitness age, the lowest it ever goes is 20.
Ha, garmin is a silly soul at times, slower runs can put fitness age up longer runs can put age up, shorter runs a bit faster can put it down, a while ago I ran a 20 minute run every day for 5 days and lost a year every day, Willow is going up and up and getting cross, I’m steady and we are doing the same run Ignore it when it goes up and be chuffed when it goes back down again
Thanks and hope you are both well!
