My next run is Week 6 run 3 but I haven’t run for a week due to various family commitments. Do people think it’s best to go back a week and repeat or just go for it?

Give it a go. One week off shouldn't have much impact. You might surprise yourself x

As stated in the guide to the plan, healthunlocked.com/couchto5... you lose no significant condition in the first two weeks of non running.

After that loss of condition is gradual.

All any of us can do after a lay off is to go out and see what we can comfortably manage, then build back up gently, using C25k or something similar as a guide to weekly increase.

A week shouldn’t make much difference apart from giving your legs a rest, just take it steady it’s hot out there so very few are achieving personal bests
