So after 9 days off for personal reasons Iโve finally managed to get round to doing week 8 run 1 and I feel GREAT! Canโt believe I can now run for 28 minutes๐ at first I wasnโt sure if Iโd be able to after having the 9 days off but itโs all just a mental thing if you tell yourself you can do something then you will๐ช๐ผ

You're right running is about the mental challenges as well as the physical ones. You're unlikely to experience any loss in performance from not running for one or two weeks. When I've not run for a week and I felt no difference. Glad you are enjoying it.
