Three 22 minute runs under my belt!

What a difference in a week! Last week I couldn’t run outside as the track I run was flooded, today I was putting on suncream before heading out 😂

Finished my 3rd 22 minute run of the week. My slowest however very much to be expected in this heat! All 3 felt very comfortable and my breathing and legs were all good. Definitely felt I had a few more minutes in me today despite the heat.

Upping the time by 10% next week and going to do three 24 1/2 minute runs. This feels quite achievable to be honest as I definitely felt I had it in me today and on my last run also, but we shall see how I get on!

Hopefully the sunshine lasts as the views on today’s run were stunning with the sun out and clear blue skies 🌞

Alternatively you could do a 23 minute run, a 24 minute run and a 25 minute run. It adds up to 72 minutes which is slightly less than 24.5×3 = 73.5, and might be easier to convince yourself to do. "It's just one minute more than last time."

That’s an excellent idea! Definitely going to do this, an extra minute each run won’t seem too bad at all! *fingers crossed*
