Week 2 run 1!

After a 14 week gap due to a broken foot have now done W2R1!! In a heatwave! My earlier runs were in rain and snow and sleet..today was a first. I had been at work 7.00 till 2.00 and had done almost 10000 steps so it would have been easy to say no it’s too hot, legs ache etc. But I am so determined after being stopped in week 7 before, I had a short rest, got the kit on, did some exercises and off i went! Am so pleased I did. I remember first time round the 90 seconds was hard work...today it wasn’t! Loved it! This plan is just amazing..🥰

Brilliant! Well done. I like getting my runs done early as the heat would finish me off 😆 Keep it up, you're doing great xx

Thank you!!! Because of work (I work every other weekend) I didn’t have much choice but when I’m not, definitely will be going early!! I used to love my runs in the rain!!! xx

A heatwave is a tough challenge for your restart! Looks like you’ve covered all weather conditions now! 😂. Well done for not putting it off!

Thank you! It was tempting but the desire to do it overtook the urge to sit in the sun!!
