Hip pain

I’ve completed the C25k and am enjoying short runs every few days now. I started to get some hip pain - not when I’m running but when I’m standing and particularly working kitchen counter level. X-ray shows ‘degenerative changes and impression of old fracture (no idea when that happened). Should I stop running? Will running damage further? I get lots of joint pain and am doing Strength and Flex too. 63 and overweight I’m trying to lose weight.

The only person who could answer that is the person who interpreted that X-ray.

Losing weight will always help a bit with joint issues.

But you shouldn't take the advice of some random geezer on an Internet forum.

I agree with nowster that is advice that would be best solicited from a medical professional.
