Can't recommend it enough!!! Iv been running every other day, getting to week 8, run 2 in ~6 weeks, but it has left the muscles in my legs tight. The runs every other day does ease the stiffness, but iv noticed on the rest days; the levels of tightness has been gradually increasing. I assume iv not been letting my muscles fully recover, and just asking too much... Iv decided to have [at least] 2 days off, before continuing, but today I decided to treat myself to some new compression gear (my weight loss is mitigating the compression I'm getting out of my old set.) Walking around the shop: I noticed a foam roller, and grabbed it. Got home, and just did a little rolling, and it's soo good: it's eased all the tension in my legs, and they feel soo "loose". Iv watched some videos on the subject, and I'll be incorporating rolling into my warm up and warm down routine.
If you have been struggling with tight muscles, I would definitely recommend you look into a roller, iv found it far better at easing tension than anything iv tried this far (stretching and muscle soaks)
