Not sure why but I was a little nervous about Starting this week. Turns out there was nothing t worry about.
I did however have a tech malfunction and when I accidentally pulled my headphone jack out of my phone unknown to me it paused my C25K.
When I run I try not to look at the time at all and just wait to be told how long is left, and as it was my first run of the week I had no idea when I would be getting my little pep talks and time notices.
So, by the time I realised something was up and restarted i just commutes to running till I was told t stop rather than fixating in times and maths mid run.
Stopped running and paused my Strava and discovered I just finished a 36 minute run!
I’ll be going back to plan from next run though, and will probably take an extra day off as I’m too invested to be struck with an injury.
Goes to show though, my mental hurdles are definitely harder to overcome than the physical ones as there no way I would I thought I could do a 36 minute run this morning!
