FRUSTRATION OF THE SHORT DISTANCE RUNNER

There I was 6-30am and tying up my running shoes when I hear the sound of a heavy downpour on the conservatory roof. I look outside and decide no way I'm running in that, I checked the weather forecast and find its completely changed from last night. Old forecast, 20% chance of rain and 15 mph wind, new forecast 80% chance of heavy rain with 20 mph winds gusting up to 40 later on with things improving ,rain wise, from 9am onward. So I find my Kindle and settle down to wait. 9am and the rain stops as if on cue, so I decide to run. Initially it's not too bad, I'm running cross wind with only a few branches and a blown over wheelie bin to pick my way around. Things change when I turn into wind and get hit by a gust that almost, but not quite, stops me dead. Fortunately it's a short into wind leg and it's only a gust so I carry on, so envious of any one with a treadmill. I see another runner coming my way and we exchange grimaces. Still I do manage to get to the end of W8R3 ,all be it, very slowly. Now I wanted to do this run partly to get week 8 done and dusted and partly to try out my newly acquired Garmin forerunner 45 watch, and here in lies another frustration. Initially I couldn't get the watch to pair with my wife's i phone so I ran with it unpaired. I'm on my cool down walk when I look at my watch and its telling me (I didn't knowingly ask it to) I have a VO2max of 39. Could any one tell me what, if anything, this means. When I get home I try again to pair, or should that be, sync my watch with my wife's i phone and this time it's successful. Looking at some more telemetry I find I have an average cadence of 175 spm and max of 190 spm . What, if anything ,does this mean? Sorry that this post has been so long W I N D E D.

It's probably easier than explaining,

Have a look at the attached links but definitely don't get hung up on all the stats that Mr Garmin can supply you with 👍🤓
