Great, but remember you don't have to run 5k to graduate. Most people don't.

Graduation requirements are that you complete 3 x 30 minute runs.

Have fun.

I started on 29 Dec been running every other day . Week 7 and 8 I had to repeat a couple of runs until I completed three consecutive runs for the week . I didn’t move to the next week until I done that. Week 9 I have managed to do the first 2 runs easier than the 28 mins ones but I suppose that it’s just an extra 2 mins and have done all the groundwork . I have completely trusted the programme and done some stretches after each run since week 7. I am a slow runner about 9 min km’s, but I take it slow to make sure I get to the end. I’m planning on doing 10 consecutive runs each for the 30 mins then I want to try and run for 5 km after that. That would take about 45 mins at my current pace. I have signed up for our local parkrun when they start up in June as my aim was to do them with my 11 year old daughter as she done some last year but she had to do it with her friends mum as I couldn’t as I haven’t ran since school , I’m now 48! That’s my incentive ! We can do this tomorrow!!
