Welcome to the forum.

The suggested pace for C25K is one at which you can speak aloud, clear, ungasping sentences as you run. I do not know what link or song you are referring to.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.

Thank you so much for all of your support. So helpful. Just completed W3R3. Fantastic. Can’t believe it!

I've seen somewhere that 'hey ya' by OutKast is a good beat to run to. It's one of my 'bangers' anyway so is in my playlist, but everyone has a different pace. I think if you know your pace (steps per minute) you can search on YouTube for xxxxbpm (beats per minute) to find good tunes for you.
