Back at it and feeling good

I unbelievably managed to hurt my knee on week 9 run 1, so did the sensible thing and took a week off. Easing myself back into it with a 2km run 2 days ago and 3kms today. Feeling good and pleased I don't seem to have lost too much fitness. Can't wait to get back up to 5km! Or nearly, I was just 50m short which is probably why I hurt my knee. This programme really does achieve miracles. Having said that it would have been so easy to stop altogether. There's definitely some psychology behind at what point we consider ourselves a runner.

Take care! When I've chased that 5km in 30 minutes (and achieved it) each time has been followed by some sort of injury. That run is my personal nemesis. A slow 8km? No problem. A fast 1km? Nothing! There's something about doing 5km at that pace.

I can't help but think we create our own reality, or laws of attraction, whatever you want to call it. Perhaps I'll do it more easily if I turn the audio on my tracker off 😂

It's good to be back

I'm being held back. Also I guess the legs need to ease back in slowly. Great to be back.
