So w8r1 following Xmas was a bit of a struggle to hit the rhythm, after approx 10 mins I got into gear and my heavy breathing subsided! To say I’m a runner is an understatement I literally plod along but wow I really do enjoy it now! I get my earphones in and listen to Jo/my music and sure I see people out doing the same as me following C25K. It really is a fantastic app, I ruptured my Achilles Tendon early in the year and I have seen some real low points although sure we all have with COVID-19! Keep going people I know I will and already looking forward to more miles of running

Welcome to the forum and well done on your progress.

The first few minutes of a run are known as the Toxic Ten healthunlocked.com/couchto5... which is why there is little point in pushing hard.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.
