Wk8R1 - It was all I Ever Wanted (Could have done without the 4c and wind tho’)

So after my ‘Eureka Run ‘ of wk7R3 I am delighted to report that I maintained my slow pace 👌🏃🏻‍♀️

Or to be exact I reversed my inclination to set off too fast and then get slower and puffed out.

I ran 3.4K and increased my pace with each km . Halle’flippin’lujah 😂

So I ran a very scenic 28minutes not five minutes from my house , I didn’t run 5k or even 4 but what I did was exactly what I always wanted from C25K ...... to ‘go out for a run’ .

Whatever I now achieve , or don’t, doesn’t matter because I ( yes me who couldn’t do 60 seconds seven weeks ago ), can pop out for a run 🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️🏃🏻‍♀️

My early morning runs are changing fast though , instead of being light at 6 I’m having to wait until nearly 7 it to be light .

Also it was (or felt anyway) BALTIC this morning , it was 4c with a south westerly wind and it just felt really nippy 💨💨

However on a positive note I I am back running with Jo . The app and my music worked in harmony this morning and she didn’t go AWOL on me . Thanks acountrycabbage for the tip . I suspect that nice lady at Strava telling me I had done a km was to blame 😂

Today I just had Jo on the app plus my music going on my phone and tracked everything else on my watch.

I treated myself to a Garmin 45 at the weekend , there was a very good deal on in the running shop in town and I just thought ‘to heck , I’m worth it ‘ !

Also I have been ‘piggy banking’ the money for a couple of classes that I can’t go to due to Covid and treating myself 👌

The very idea that I was in a running shop just makes me laugh too 😂😂

I absolutely love it tho ‘ and Instead of going for my original choice of subtle black I bought the Red 😂( quite a nice orangey red ) reminds me of @acountrycabbage racer back tee 👌

It’s so simple to use and has stopped all my faffing about with the phone and it makes me happy 🙂

It’s the secret of life - do things that you enjoy and that make you happy .

The running was free , the watch wasn’t 😂😂
