Week 2 complete

So it’s taken me three weeks to complete week 1 and 2. I’m very apprehensive about week three as the run time double from 90 secs to 3 mins. Feels like a big jump. The extremely hot weather has put me back a bit and just not being able to get up super early when it’s cool as I’m pretty much exhausted everyday from being a mum. Hope I can keep going, prob going to take me 20 weeks to complete the course at this rate!!

Hey! You need to listen to your body and take it easy - but within reason. It is totally ok to take longer than 9 weeks to complete the programme. You could do every run twice if you think it will help and if you have never run before you will probably have a few niggles. However if you are serious about completing the programme - which of course you are - maybe you need to get some help. Have a look at the advice on this website. It makes it clear that there is not one way to complete. Also, you might want to check your foot wear. It's the most important piece of running equipment and can help to prevent injuries.

But don't give up. Try to stick to the plan, with a few personal tweaks. It will make you feel SO good!

It doesn’t matter how long it takes you, you are getting out there and making a positive life change to be healthier and fitter. Everyone is different, so you should look upon the set timescale as nothing but a guide. As long as you are comfortable, it will take as king as you need it to 😊

Heyyyy doesn’t matter if it takes you 40 weeks!

You’ve started it!

It’s you’re journey and if you’re a busy mum you have to factor that in

The plan somehow works... it’s brilliant... it silently works with you to get you to a place where the targets they set are do-able... if it takes a bit longer cos you have other things to juggle so be it... it’s no biggie... that’s the beauty of it...

you can also repeat weeks if you feel you not quite got it nailed...

everyone is different .. the support on here is fab.. honestly stick with it and you will be amazed at what you can achieve.. but work to your timescales ... cut yourself some slack...

you got this! Promise 👏👏

Well done for starting it
