Going into week 3, had sustained an ankle injury, despite doing the stretches, cool down before & after last run, it only appeared in the evening having done the run in the early morning... now advised not to carry on until given the ok & starting physio after excluding bony involvement as likely to be ligament (I also have RA) . When I am allowed to continue, should I be starting from scratch or just go back to repeat week 2? I feel totally disappointed as was just getting to enjoy going out! 😏

Sorry to hear about this... the answer depends on how long you’re not running for... you won’t lose any fitness for two weeks and then decline will be gradual. That said, after an injury it’s best to come back nice and gently to assess the healing, so a step back isn’t a bad thing. Your physio is the one best placed to advise you through the comeback.

Here’s hoping you’re not out for long.
As stated in the guide to the plan, healthunlocked.com/couchto5... you lose no significant condition in the first two weeks of non running.
All any of us can do after a lay off is to go out and see what we can comfortably manage, then build back up gently, using C25k or something similar as a guide to weekly increase.
You will be back.
