W5R2 - Back at it!

Finally decided when my arch supports came to go on a "practise" run, as I've been out of running for a few days now, so wanted to see if I could manage it with my knee problem - but was surprisingly actually fine, and completed the run with no issues! It felt so good to be running again and to see the sea as I was running, the last 8 minutes actually felt shorter than the first one, as when Sanjeev said the time was up I was so confused and double checked if both of the runs were 8 minutes! This run felt slightly different than the others, I was slightly more sluggish but just pushed through it.

Anyone have any tips for the 20 minutes run? I found just focusing on my music rather than the time, and trying to erase any negative thoughts helped me loads but any other advice that people think of would be absolutely amazing! I quite enjoy the brisk walk breaks, although today I thought it could have been shorter - will I end up hating them? 😂

It's nice to be back! My pace was slightly slower than usual just because I didn't want to push it 😂 I've got a 155BPM playlist on Spotify which is great but I'm so nervous that I'm going to tap out on the 20 min one as I'm so used to a break - not sure if I just need to turn my brain completely off for my next run so I don't think about the break 😂

Great news, just keep it slow! Good luck! 💪🏼
