Running in the rain

What do people wear to run in the rain . . . and not get too hot?

And how to you keep your glasses from getting speckled and from steaming up?

I wear a very thin long sleeved top and just my running leggings (not brave enough for shorts yet) and a cap with a peak to save the glasses 🤓

I bought a lightweight waterproof running jacket from Adidas it has plenty of room in it and is a breathable material it’s the best thing I bought as I live in the Lake District and rain is the default weather up here. If I don’t judge the weather then I just get wet And I now don’t run in my glasses as I can’t find a way of keeping them on while I run..

I wear a baseball cap which helps keep some of rain off the glasses and a lightweight breathable waterproof jacket 😀

Nothing's better. I joined over 100 others last July for the annual Bare All for Polar Bears sponsored run round the Yorkshire Wildlife Park. It rained most of the time. No sweat!

I’ve not worn anything other than shorts and sports shirts so far, except for one day it was particularly chilly I wore a hoodie as well 😊

When it's warm, regular gear (shorts/top/hat if you want). When it's cool wear the same. Cold? Wait for the rain to stop. Jackets will overheat you but if you must then wear just a short sleeved tech top under it. Glasses? What do you normally do in the rain when there is no umbrella? Do the same again or wear contact lenses.
