Week 6 Run 1 complete

Struggled today and I’m not too sure why. If anything my body coped better with the 20 minute run on week 5 run 3. Why is this? I’m pretty certain I didn’t run faster today then before, I just felt after every running interval my legs were hurting more then they would if I were to just carry on???

I felt the same. I think the adrenaline pushes you through Wk 5. It does get better - I promise. Don't worry about it - its just a blip, and doesn't indicate your ability to progress.

I did mine this morning and found I had to keep reminding myself positive thoughts as the doubts were crawling in.

You’re right though, my legs are a bit ouchy this evening so I wondered if it was due to running longer distance than previously and more consistently. Plus having the gap in the middle kind of stops you getting into the run like in R3 W5.

Still, it’s done and next is Wk6 R2!
