I can believe when I started this programme 9 weeks ago that my goal would be achieved. So where have come from I’m 57 years old overweight have hypertension(under control) I was already quite fit from walking. I had tried to run before but was not successful. So decided that I needed to get fitter, so when along to my local parkrun. I would like walk the course, with little tiny run sections. But I was determined that when it got light in the mornings I was going to learn to run 🏃♀️. Whilst still walking and volunteering at parkrun. But the dreaded pandemic Coronavirus came on the scene and everything went into lockdown. This made more determined that I going to be ready when everything came back.
When I started C25K I was so breathless and had aches and pains from the first week, but I had a goal. I read all the information that InnodaTruffe sent. Enjoyed all the support from everyone on the forum. When you are flagging just reading all the supportive messages that give to each other.
So went you feel that you can’t do it. That you let the little voice question you why are you putting yourself through this? Remember everyone that has been through the programme and graduates knows all about those feelings. Just pushing through.
So get up off your crouch grab your trainers 👟 headphones 🎧 and phone 📱 and go out the door. You are doing this for your health. To make better version of yourselves. Your all amazing people.
