Was feeling on a such a high about Wk7 R3 in the sun, early morning run ! Then niggly painful knee has floored me for the last week and a half ... I will do strength exercises when completely better but am now nervous about heading out and damaging it again . Should I just try week 8 and power through to see how it goes or back track and build up a bit ? Argghh !

On a side Does anyone take any good supplements for joints ? I think I am at ‘an age’ when things are just now generally creaking !

The guide to the plan has advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

What are your shoes like?

I take multivitamins and glucosamine with chondroitin for joints.

Yes I need to have a more in-depth read I think bought good Brookes shoes from a specialised running store so confident they are ok. It’s just me !😁 I don’t want to give up and quit but was edging that way 😳
