Decided to take my first step into getting fitter and losing weight so, after lots of recommendations, I started couch to 5k! Only just done my first one and wasn’t as bad as I thought - in fact I quite enjoyed it!

Plus it was great to have 20 mins to myself and away from the constant yapping, whining, questions, ‘mummy’ 10,000 times a minute ... ! 😝

Let’s see if this is something I can actually stick to and finally get fit and lose weight! 💪🏻

Welcome to the forum and well done on getting started.

This guide to the plan is essential reading healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

and includes advice on minimising impact, stretching after every run, hydration and strengthening exercises, all of which will help.

Enjoy your journey.
