Novice again after 6 years but going for it

Before having my eldest I was always running then I had him and found reasons to not run. Had my second baby last year and still trying to lose weight so wanted to start again. Lockdown happened and whilst I love running on actual pavement, at the moment I don’t feel like going out after homeschooling and training a 10month old to be human. I was gifted a treadmill yesterday so have got it and started week 1 run 1 today!! Other half may even start doing on my days off.... lockdown may be the making of us on this

Have to say, ‘gifted a treadmill’ made me laugh! Thought it was going to be trainers or something! Welcome to the programme and well done completing day one. That’s one of the hardest steps - actually starting the programme. Keep it up and keep posting, you get great advice here and it’s great reading about other’s progress.

Honestly was so grateful. Was collecting some free DVD shelving and saw the lady had posted a free crosstrainer but that had already gone. Said to her it was a shame. She said she had the treadmill, that she was happy to gift me as was no use to her even though she had all good intentions. Got to put it to use or I would not be using my gift wisely! Thank you for the advice!
