Week 6 run 1

The change in the weather has upsides and downsides. Upsides - it's not so hot. Downsides - there are a lot of puddles everywhere. I found this quite hard - there was lots of warning on the forum about this and it was true. After running for 20 minutes at the end of week 5, you feel as though the walking breaks should make things easier - but for some reason they didn't seem to do that. But I didn't quit.

I might be looking a bit too far ahead, but if I keep up this rate - one run every two days - I'll be done by the end of May - which isn't far off. I want to have something to look forward to - something that will keep me going. It was going to be Park Run - but clearly that's not on at the moment. I'm going to miss Laura encouraging me through the difficult bits!

Well done!

I thought Week 6 was a lovely week, just slow right down and relax into it.

It’s great to have a goal so good luck for completing by the end of May hopefully by then things will have eased a little 🤞
