Hi everyone, i have asthma which I currently take steroid inhalers for. My asthma is under control untill it comes to running. Ive never been able to run. Ive just fin week 1 and found the first 2 runs relatively easy, however i just about died at the end of it and this is only week 1. 😫

Please tell me this gets easier cause the thought of running 30 mins without stopping is somehow giving me the fear.

Hiya! I can't help much with the further on runs as I am 1 run behind you but I'm asthmatic. Again, really under control but I worry about running because I just get sooo tight chested and struggle to catch breath. I am just going as slow as comfortable for myself and I find that this helps. Might feel like I'm not doing much but it's totally not the case. I think we just need to slowly build ourselves up to a nice pace and if that means starting really slow then so be it.

Try and get a turbohaler. I had two puffs before running. Although I only had mild wheezing, I have never wheezed since week 3 of c25k.
