W5R2 done and dusted

It was easy this morning and I actually thought I might be able to do this. The first part for me is the hardest as it is uphill but I did the 5 mins and could have continued.

I then carried on for 8 mins on the last run and again could have continued and part of this is uphill as well.

I managed to do this as I ran even slower than usual in readiness for the longer time and it worked πŸ‘πŸ‘

I even enjoyed running and could enjoy all of the pretty colourful flowers and the pink blossom falling on me and around me from the tree 🌷😊

Feeling good now so bring on the next run πŸŒžπŸ‘

Well done, you have sorted your pacing, which is half the battle.

Yes I do believe it is but when I have tried this before it is sooooo easy to want to keep up with those running past and feeling that what I’m doing is rubbish and feeling stupid because of this.

After watching the slow jogging clips I now accept that it is fine to go slow and that I’m not the only one doing this and it really works

Counterintuitively, slow running with full lungs, develops the body more efficiently than pushing hard with gasped breaths.

Thanks that makes me feel better πŸ‘
