Wow! Really struggled today. Seemed a really big jump from 10 to 20 minutes jogging. Dreading week 6. Should I do week 5 again? Managed to do 20 minutes but a shock to my knees!

I felt exactly like you in my first few runs, I took it easy and ran at my own pace even though some people walking was passing me on the way.

You know your body and your limit. Move to your pace.

I'm on week 8 now, never thought I would of gotten this far.

I wouldn't repeat a week unless I had to (such as having an injury break). Just keep the pace right down, focus on just keeping moving for the prescribed times and you should be fine. This is the start of the exciting bit; why put it off 🙂

Well done, you did it! 👏If I was you I'd carry on with the next run but keep an eye on your knees and take it slow and steady.

hi Katerinasupercat, it just is tough for lots of us I think, maybe just take it a bit slower, you can do this , keep going, see how you feel next run, some folks happily repeat a run or a week so don’t worry if you need to 🤗

If you are doing the NHS C25k plan then there is no jump from 10 minutes to 20 ..........W5R2 is 16 minutes of running and 5 minutes brisk walking.....total 21 minutes.

Do not dread any run.......that is counterproductive.........this might help healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

If any run is tough, just slow down........you should be running at an easy conversational pace, as described in the guide to the plan.
