Hi all , completed week 3 but have a slight groin strain which is quite painful. Any advice would be great thanks.

I'd probably take a few extra rest days until the pain has gone.

Try to relax and take it very gently whilst running. Do make sure you and your legs are really warmed up before your runs and do those post run stretches too. In new runners, not warming up properly can be the culprit.

Try to land lightly and do take it slow and steady. We do expect aches and pains when we begin, but real pain ( you will know the difference) should never be ignored...
