The plan is designed to achieve that step by step. Each run prepares you physically for the next one. The hard part is believing you are ready to do something new and unknown each week.
Just trust in the plan and it will see you to the end, and don't get dispirited if there are the occasional hiccups along the way; life has a habit of happening, so if there are any stumbles, just put them down as part of the experience and move on.
