I graduated just before Christmas (hoorah!) - have just repeated the W9 run a few times. However, a friend joined me on a run yesterday and videoed me for a minute or so and I was surprised at how slow I seemed to be running, although my Apple smart watch tells me my last 2 runs were 11 minutes per mile, which I didn’t think was too bad for an old bird. I’m looking forward to doing the C25K+ podcasts so hopefully will pick up some more hints and tips to speed up a little. I think someone taking a video of you also helps you see your posture which you otherwise can’t see unless running past a shop window! In which case I’d probably then slam into a lamp post!!! 😳😂

I’m with you about the posture & running form insights, but I wouldn’t worry much about apparent speed. I’ve seen video of folks I know are speedy runners that made them look slow! Consistent timings over your desired distance will be a much better guide. 😄
