Ouch!

I have run continually for about 12 weeks now. I always run early so that I can take the dogs unleashed with me. I have progressed further after graduating and am very pleased with how I have continued to run since graduation. Going out early means that I run in the dark. I always have a torch with me. Yesterday there was an extra hazard- ice. The torch is excellent at showing water / ice in the dark. Yesterday was a 30 minute run. At 29 minutes I stumbled, not on ice and as I saw the stone sticking out of the ground it wasn’t because it was dark. The next thing I knew I was picking myself up after my right knee attempted to dig a crater in the frozen ground and instead of salmon gravellax I gravellaxed both my hands. Fortunately I managed to make my way home. Looks like I won’t be running for a week or so. Ouch!

Sounds painful. I hope you’re knee / hands are better soon then you can continue with your running.
