My phone froze

I don’t know if it’s the cold weather, but I’m doing my first 5 minute run in week 4, today, and I’m thinking this seems like a long time running, look at my phone and the app has stopped. Could not get it to run again had to turn off and back on again then started run again. Not the first time this has happened very frustrating.

I had the same problem with the app too. I got tabata instead and put the intervals in myself instead. Hasn't let me down yet! You don't get the encouragement from the app that way, but i am still going!!

You're right it must be very annoying. I'm not to sure why it froze. I know people who have iPhones the phone freezes or turns off because of the cold.

Sorry to hear you had problems. I used the podcasts all the way through rather than the app, maybe worth a try. Never heard anyone have problems with podcasts not working. Good luck

Ye my iPhone plays up all the time it’s really annoying when your doing a timed run. Apparently the iPhone is sensitive to the cold and needs to be kept in an inside pocket The last thing you need is technology playing up. I usually forget to start the map my run app . Glad you managed to get on with your run well done for that 😊

Maybe wrap in a sock? Mine has done same when in full sun, it's a samsung, not run in below zero yet, but guess phones can have cold/hot issues!!
