I was out in -4 yesterday . Once you're wet you're wet right. Let us know how your run goes π

When I started to run, I made three conditions: I would not run in the rain, in mud or in the dark.
As I live in Cornwall, the first two had to be broken very soon.
Last week the last of them also went as I had to squeeze in a run before a business breakfast.
As for rain, I just celebrate the drops bouncing off my wet head.
Iβm not sure how Iβd feel about volcanic fall out.

I have been spoilt recently and only ran in daylight and sunshine. Must go now and embrace the drops on my head !

Go for it. I have just run in-2 and think I prefer rain! A hot bath or shower when you get back and a rest day tomorrow to recover.

Looking forward to reading how it went.

I feel everyone has to try different weather conditions once in case they turn out to be your favourite π

I dont mind the cold but I hate the rain when I run, and my glasses get all steamed up lol !

If you havenβt already got one, go and buy a showerproof baseball style cap, they are a really godsend to us glasses wearers. A cheap one from Decathlon will do, no need to spend a fortune, then just play around with what angle suits you best.

Just get out there and do it. You won't be sorry. One of my most enjoyable runs was in an absolute downpour, I loved it.
Update: I see you've already done it. Great stuff π
