Question for you they say you feet swell when you run so how tight do you do your running shoes,if you do them to tight will cause pain in your feet and ankles ?

Tight enough so they are comfortable. To tight you can get pins and needles 😊

I don’t like them to tight, but tight enough that the shoes don’t move around, if that makes sense 😁

They should be comfortable but certainly not loose. On a long session you may even need to adjust if your feet swell a little (several hours).

You can get pain across the top of your foot if too tight 🤔 ankle pain may be something else but it's all connected...

Elastic locking laces may help.

I started with them too tight, and I was getting some pain across the top, then went for too loose, and I was getting a different pain across the top... I think I managed to find a balance now, though for some time I just used elastic laces :)
