Sorry, this is slightly off topic, but instead of doing my w9r2 this evening, I did my 30 minutes on a bicycle using the husbands turbo trainer. I have to say... it was hard work! Give me running any day ๐ A great cardio workout none the less and itโll keep me going until my ankle is strong enough to run on (hopefully) next week ๐ค๐ผ
Good idea to do this whilst you wait for your ankle to get better. Itโs also a good non run activity if I remember what it says in the How To post. Very impressive stats ๐
The ankle is still not great so Iโm glad I didnโt run last night (I was very tempted I must admit) Iโm still doing my ankle strengthening exercises and will continue to cycle/ swim on my non-rest days to keep up the fitness. Iโm also going to have my gait re-analysed tomorrow to see if I canโt get more supportive trainers. Thanks for asking ๐
Cycling kept me sane while I was waiting for my foot to heal. I'm hoping to keep it up to complement the running as a cross training activity. Good luck with your ankle, speedy recovery.
Itโs a great workout and Iโm glad it worked for you too. A good idea to keep it up alongside the running, especially if youโve had previous injuries ๐ Thanks very much!
