W4R1 done!

Just completed this run and I was concerned about it being the first run where the walking is less than the running, I really didn’t think I would be able to complete it. Didn’t think I’d be able to run for the second full 3 and 5mins but I did it all. And I’m actually feeling really good and proud of myself.

Congratulations, you deserve to be very proud of yourself Steve, onwards and upwards to run 2 of week 4 which I think you should find a little easier. 😊 🏃🏾

Yeah just in from run 2 definitely found it easier. 3mins running is starting to feel comfortable now.

Yes, well done Steve. I'm only on W2 so far and each time the running length is due to increase I can'r imagine myself being able to do that. Thanks for posting because seeing posts like yours is reassuring to me, I've already got the 'nagging doubts' about upping it from 90 seconds this week, to 3 minutes next week, but already I'm more hopeful!

I didn’t think I’d be inspiring anyone! I’ve just done run 2 of w4 and I’m starting to find the 3min runs comfortable now and when I think back to w1 where 60 secs felt a long time can already see an improvement. As it’s been said on lots of posts before, but I’ve found it particularly useful to remind myself at the start of a new week, just slow your run down and you will get through it.
