Is your hip pain new are you going too fast too soon😊

If you increase speed you almost inevitably increase impact stresses.

Try a couple of slower runs and see if you still have the pain.

It is recommended that you run 75-80% of your running at an easy conversational pace to build stamina, as described in the guide to post C25K running healthunlocked.com/couchto5...

Running as fast as you can every run is a rookie error.

I’m very much with the above replies. Personally I’d back off the pace again for a little while, and then re-start the mission to get quicker with a longer run once a week. We are more prone to injury when pushing ourselves and I always found that increased when at our endurance limit too.

Hope it settles down for you.

If the hip pain is persisting, do get an appointment with a physio. I started getting hip pain in early July and wish I'd gone to a physio earlier (I put it off until early August) - the exercises are really helping but I've missed out on a lot of running in the meantime. Am just starting to get back to feeling better.

I thought that it was ok as hadn’t ran in 2 weeks and started off at a slow pace only lasted 15 mins

Hurt like hell now

I would consult your GP or physio
