Just done a 'run' with my son walking next to me... Repeating w6 due to tight calf muscles last week and thinking I'd hit a wall...But this tonight no problem. Reading your posts I realise that this running business is changing me mentally more than anything. Great I'm fitter but I'm more amazed with my mental health. A slip up or setback is viewed as an opportunity to review and try something else and not panic. Best therapy ever for me, but I must stick at it...
Thanks all, life changing...

Congratulations to you Ricochet1 on running run 1 of week 6 with your son who was walking very quickly along beside you, I am sure you enjoyed it, onwards and upwards. 😊 🏃
Running next to a brisk walker is a great way to knock down any wall you have for sure... great job.
Mental health/strength is probably the most important bit, some days it’s physically tough and we need that mentally to coach ourselves through the run... seems to me you got that and then some.
