hi... well after my post about wk9 run 1, I jinxed myself and had a nasty fall that same evening. had surgery on my shoulder which is now recovering well. I've got a treadmill as its knocked my confidence a tad. trouble is I just did a test run and only managed a slow 23mins. feeling proud but should I start the program again??? many thanks xxxxx

23 mins is practically week 7, just drop back to week 7 at the most and work back up, you may find that 1 or 2 week 7 runs and 1 or 2 week 8 runs gets you back to where you were.

oh yeh... my bad didn't even think. thank you so much... don't feel too bad now xx

I agree with backintime. Go for week 7. If you managed 23 minutes on your first attempt then your running legs still have what it takes to get you through to graduation more quickly than going back to the beginning.

Good luck with it all - I'm also on the injury couch after finishing W9R1!! It was infuriating at first, but I'm becoming more philosophical about it. I'll get there eventually. Looking forward to hearing how you get on.

I know how you feel. I cried all the way to the hospital, not from the pain but because I couldn't do run 2! thanks so much and you'll be back before you know it. get well soon xxx

Don't need to start again just try a few 20 minute runs and take it from there. Hope you are feeling better 😊😊
