I may be wrong but it is looking like the questions and blogs sort by "date created" rather last updated which means anyone wanting to keep a long running blog (hands up everyone!) will slowly see it sinking in the west.
The old site used to keep them sorted by "last updated" so you could resurrect old threads and bump them to the top again by commenting in them.
Any chance of a change of sort order?
This one looks prettier but you don't get as much to the screen which makes it more difficult to scan the older questions as well.

in a similar vein it might be nice to keep the "why did you start", "any graduates" and "trainer fitting" kind of threads pinned to the top as they presumably will be long lasting and useful to all?
Yes I was thinking this too. Also the word blog implies one long document/web page which can be added to whereas I think what is on this forum, are threads rather than blogs. I could be wrong though!
& sort out the email notification thing. it was nice to get email notification from anything that you may have commented on & being able to opt in or out of that notification, rather than an email notification from almost everything.
& I agree, having useful info for beginners would be great. stuff like trainer fitting & types of trainers explained, outdoor clothing recommendations, essential stuff to get you started (that dreaded sports bra for women).
perhaps a beginners section is needed? especially as the member nos are growing daily.
Yes I agree it would be better to have a "forum" format where blogs with new comments/post come to the top of the page. it's annoying having to search through pages to find a blog/post for a few days ago. It makes much more sense to just have one blog and update this instead of starting multiple ones too.
Hi guys,
We will, in the fairly near future, update a number of features in the platform. We will take this sorting issue into consideration when we do. Thanks for your valuable input.
With regard to notifications you can change your preferences here:
Yes I would like to keep in touch with people who have 4+ stones to loose and get some encouragement from them to keep me going. So a thread for that would be great.
Greg, yes, I've already sent feedback re the blog sort order which is annoying me as Shelley and I are having to hunt back about 6 or 7 pages now to find our thread. Pinning FAQs like for shoes/kit/equipment and advice for runners with weight issues would also be good.
