W5R3, can I do it?

I’ve been progressing well with the plan (excluding a 1.5 week holiday break, where I had to repeat a couple of runs) and I have just (this evening) completed Week 5 Run 2 and I am feeling really proud of myself! It was tough but I pushed myself and managed it.

After I finished the run, I went on to check the next run of the week, and was shocked to see it’s a 20 minute straight run! I really don’t feel like that’s achievable, but will I surprise myself? Would be useful to know how others felt at this point? It seems a huge jump!

Thanks in advance for any advice! :)

Hi mate- yes you’ll do it. I, like many others before me and now you felt apprehensive about it.

You will surprise yourself, from that run it seems to get a lot more fun. I’ve just finished week 7 and I’m feeling better and better after each run

You can do it, you can run for 20 minutes slow and steady, many people including myself dreaded that run but after they have completed it they feel very proud of themselves and so will you.

It is not a huge jump at all and you will do it.

20 minutes running. I really didn’t think I could do that. I’ll admit to about 30 seconds walking as
