O dear, you have broken the dreadmill, how did that happen? That is the first time I have heard of that happening, you say it was old and only cost £5 which at the time you bought it was a bargain, just hope you can resume with your running, either outside or get a new treadmill for continuing your runs at home.

Are you able to get outside to run? I hope you find a solution soon.

I didn’t like to ask that myself - but you’re right, I’d love to know the whole story 😄

The belt kept slipping, I tightened it trying to fix it and it went bang! Barrings fell out of the rear roller 😂

You know you want to get out there ! Shy runners tend to prefer early morning or dusk, if that’s any help ?!

Good time to go outside!😊

Going into Spring, well, it's supposed to be! even in the dodgy weather just wrap up in jacket n hood or hat..soon warm up with a bit of running!

Don't see it as a negative. Embrace it as a positive and start pounding those pavements!!!!

Good luck

I'm currently feeling as if I might break, not the treadmill! Hoping it gets easier. Good luck with your outdoor running.

Aww bless you. take it slow. I struggled on nearly all my runs it got better when I found my pace eventually. I know it’s hard especially when you have health problems. You can do it!! don’t break yourself though

I think you should give in to the lure of the great outdoors. I started my C25K on the treadmill at the gym, but once my daughter dragged me (kicking and screaming ) outside I actually was hooked. You may well surprise yourself at how invigorating outdoor running can be.

A fiver, that was a bargain. Have you tried Parkrun?
