😕

There was going to be a picture, but my phone didn’t want me to share it.

It finally let me post the picture! My usual route is under water due to the high tide!

I do like running the river - the route itself can get a bit monotonous, but the wildlife keeps it interesting.

Looks great and seems as if you can run forever. Enjoy the next runs, go slow!

It does, though in reality the farthest you can run beside the river itself is to a small village where there is a bridge you can cross to turn round and come back- Hmmm, I just realised that the groups I run with tend to run loops from the middle bridge either one way or the other but not all the way from bottom to top...

I might have to get a map out later and measure how far that is.

I was recommended footpath and it’s useful to see smaller tracks and work out distances. In free mode you can only view one route at the time but I like to look at a few options.

Oh that’s good to know. 👍

I have a paid for MapMyFitness account which works quite well for most things - as long as you turn off the option for ‘use the nearest road’. 😝

You do!

Yay long runs 👍 just in time for a 7k event on 9th March that replaced one I was due to take part in a couple of weeks ago. 🤦‍♀️
