I did Wk8 R1 Jan 28th, R2 Feb 9th and R3 today does that count as completing Week 8?
I had a bit of a scare with my knee on R1 but stopped for about 2mins and stretched it out then completed the run (paused the app). I stuck to dog waking with an occasional light jog until R2 and same until R3. I did a few one minute runs and a sprint yesterday and everything seemed fine so went for R3 today.
Today I managed the run quite well and even sped up in places. If I included the warm up and warm down walks I actually did 5k so delighted!
Apart from the pause for knee on Wk8R1 I’ve completed every run at the first try.
Can I move onto Wk9 or do I need to do all three Wk8 runs within a week?

I think you can move on. I’d suggest being less focused on speed and stick to duration. You’re a new runner and therefore at risk of injury, so just run nice and slowly and you’ll be fine. Pace and distance can be worked on later.
Thanks! I’ll remember that advice. I seemed to settle into the run better today and did a good job of losing track of the time which seems to help me. I’ll stick to a pace and aim to complete Wk9 in the next week without incident
