My sister has problems with her knees, it’s a condition where the cartridge has mostly worn away (I can’t remember the name of the condition). She really fancies starting running but worries that it will ruin her knees. Any advice???

As I am not medically trained I maybe take a guess at crepitis. I have this but the doctor said if I have no pain I am ok. Since starting c25k one of my knees have slight ache but I bought knee support and I've been fine. If I'm wrong about the crepitis then maybe your sister should see the doctor before starting c25k 😊

It's great that your sister wants to take up running but as we are not medically qualified, I would definately suggest she see a gp or sports physio for some advice. Fingers crossed!🙂

We can't give medical advice.........it would be unethical and possibly dangerous.

Your sister needs to get professional medical advice from her GP.
