Not sure about sore feet AFTER a run but during a run it is recommended to have a decent pair of running shoes, buy them after a gait analyses in a specialist sports shop, if you run in those your feet should not be so sore, so possibly the reason for your sore feet is because of the shoes that you ran in. Some runners here will probably give you a better idea of what gait actually is as I have not had one.

Sore feet can be interpreted in many ways......it could be due to friction from ill fitting shoes or it could be that your shoes are not providing enough insulation from the impact stresses of running.

As AlMorr says good quality, well fitting shoes should not be giving you sore feet.

If you do already have proper running shoes fitted after a gait analysis done at a specialist running shop, then try reducing impact by slowing down, avoiding heelstriking, or running on grass or treadmill.

Running socks may also help.

Marathon runners apparently cover their feet in Vaseline or equivalent before setting out to reduce friction. Might be worth a judicious bit of testing, though it’ll probably make a mess of your footwear.
