At last I was able to get out tonight and run without the fear of breaking my neck. The snow forced me into a 4 day break but actually hasn't impacted on my running and I really enjoyed plodding along tonight. Few icy spots to jump over - all adds to the fun.

And more good news - Parkrun are starting a new run at my local park on 23rd February - it is literally at the end of my road, so absolutely no excuse for not doing my first park run which I have been putting off. I may even have a supportive spectator to cheer me on. I know the route so should be able to pace myself - I had been concerned about running too quickly. Can't wait!

All good news, particularly your very own Parkrun! I’ve found a few days extra recovery every now and then to be beneficial.

I’ve had a snow enforced break since Thursday too. I’ve just got back from trying but it’s still pretty nasty in patches so I had to keep stopping and starring. I came home and will try again tomorrow.
