Hi there. I got to W3R1 last Wednesday and have hurt my left knee, then couldn’t run on Friday because of the snow and now have a cold/cough/fever. I’m feeling like I’m in danger of losing the momentum I had. I know it’s probably a good thing that I’m testing my knee but a negative voice is telling me this is what I get for thinking I can be a runner. I’m not even sure what I should do about the knee - I can’t squat without it causing pain but it doesn’t hurt to run on it. I’m so sorry to not be going running in the morning!

So well done getting to week three, don’t let the hiccup stop you, rest your knee and your body till you’re over your cold and when you feel up to it try again. It’s not a race, which is just as well given my speed. Not qualified to give any advice on your knee but if it continues to bother you just have it checked out. You ARE cut out to be a runner, keep going and keep us posted

Never listen to the Voices ! They were the ones who said you’d never get through week 1. They were lying then and they’re lying now ! Rest up, consult a medic if things don’t improve, then get back out there and nail the rest of week 3. We know you can do it 😀
