Giving Blood?

I am due to graduate on Sunday (eeeek!!) and have my regular appointment to give blood on Monday. I have never had any problems during or after giving blood and have been a regular donor for years. Am I OK to run on Tuesday do you think or should I probably wait an extra day? Or take it gently and see how it goes. Anyone else on here who gives blood, what would you do?

I wish you the very best for your graduation run on Sunday, as far as your run on Tuesday, well, it's up to you on how you feel after giving a pint of blood on Monday, I would suggest if you do run on Tuesday take it very gently as you say.

My wife, who was a blood donor, used to find it was better to wait a few days to recover. Drink plenty of fluids.
